New Area Business Referral Group Has Formed
April 17th 2022, BRANDON MS – A new independent business referral group has started in our area. The group is called the Rankin Referral Group, and had their official formation meeting this past week. The group is based here in Brandon, and typically meets weekly in Flowood MS. The group has been created by like-minded business professionals who want to work together with other local professionals, to exchange referrals, promote Brandon, Rankin County, and “Buy Local”.
The group is currently accepting applications for membership. As with similar groups, the group strives to be a non-competitive business referral group. This means the group only has one member per business category (profession). According to one of the group’s organizers, Tyler Wiltshire, “We’re open for new members right now. Just go to our website and fill out the online membership form. We currently have members filling the seats for Personal Lines Insurance Agent, Mosquito Abatement, Physical Therapy, Real Estate Agent, Injury Attorney, Web Design, and a few more.” Wiltshire further explained that the group is perfect for just about anyone in sales, marketing, anyone who calls on businesses, or anyone in retail or any type of specialty. The group is self-managed by its members, with member fees that are extremely low, and all member fees go back to support the chapter and host events. The group has even created its own software to manage the group, membership, and track referrals.
The Rankin Referral Group meets weekly, at 10am CT on Tuesdays in the Conference Room at Office Evolution in Flowood.
