Message from the Mayor – Magic of Lights®
December 1st 2022 – BRANDON MS – The Magic of Lights® show has entertained over 13,000 vehicles since opening night, November 18th 2022. The positive response and feedback for bringing the show to Brandon has amplified the city message of establishing our hometown as a quality place to live, work and raise a family. Built upon the foundation of a homegrown, hometown version of a drive through Christmas Light Show the two prior years, Brandon has been blessed with success in working to creating an instant holiday tradition.
We began telling the story that the Magic of Lights® show wasn’t simply an expansion of what had been created in previous years – but what we were doing on steroids. There are only 17 Magic of Lights® shows in the United States this year (4 more in Canada) and we feel honored to have been on a radar screen as a location which might support a traditional show of this type.
It doesn’t matter if you have one or twenty-one people in your vehicle, the show price is based up one fee for one vehicle. With a ticket ranging from $20 to $35 dependent upon discount codes (MAGICOFLIGHTS.COM), week-nights versus weekends and holiday evenings, it is clearly an inexpensive ticket for everyone looking to share the joy of the holiday season. So please, don’t miss this wonderful, close to home opportunity to enjoy a local event built to create memories. Load the family car, get the church bus going with a Sunday School class fellowship, bring your parents and children to see their eyes filled with sparkles and smiles. ‘Tis the season to count blessings and fill the hearts of one and all with good tidings and cheer. Magic of Lights operates each evening from 5:30pm – 10pm, Nov 18th 2022 – Jan 1st 2023.
