Material Girls comes to Downtown Brandon
BRANDON MS – March 24, 2023 – You may have noticed a new women’s boutique moved in the building at 137 W Government Street, in Downtown Brandon, called Material Girls. The parcel is on the corner of Black Street and W Government St, near Genna Benna’s and across the street from the new Bank Lofts (the former location of Trustmark Bank).
At a young age, Owner Whitney Giordano Foster knew she had a passion for design & fashion, and her family had no doubt that she would follow that dream.
While in her Senior year at Southern Miss, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Marketing, Whitney’s dream came to life in 2004 when she opened her first location, Material Girls, in Flowood, MS.
Material Girls quickly became the #1 leading Women’s Clothing Boutique in Mississippi. For nearly 20 years, Material Girls has been styling the trend for ladies of MS & now nationwide, both in stores & ONLINE! More recently, Whitney was presented with the unique opportunity to get back to her Rankin County roots & open a new storefront in the amazing downtown Brandon community. “THANK YOU 39042 for allowing our locally owned boutique to be a part of your vibrant community and we are thrilled and beyond blessed about being able to provide our customers with easy access to the latest styles and fashions”, says Whitney.
