Brandon Chamber Lemonade Day – Winners!
August 30, 2023 – BRANDON MS – The Brandon Chamber conducted Lemonade Day here in Brandon on the weekend of August 11th & 12th, with over 40 lemonade stands participating. The city and area were full of lemonade stands, all owned and operated by youth entrpreneuers. Winners are declared in THREE categories: Best Stand, Best Tasting Lemonade, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

The Brandon Chamber is extremely proud of these winners, but the true winners were not only ALL the kids who participated in Lemonade Day, but also the community as a whole. Brandon is only the 2nd city in our state to offer a Lemonade Day program, and it’s so much more than just some kids setting up a stand to sell some lemonade. These kids went through several workshops, learning the basics of owning their own business, they enjoyed a pool party, as well as a pizza party, while also learning the basics of creating their own lemonade recipe and building their own stand, while even taking out what is likely their first loan, ever! The weekend of stands being setup was just the culmination of the Lemonade Day experience.
Hats off to all the kids who participated, as well as their supportive parents, and also our valuable sponsors. Without our Lemonade Day sponsors, this program would not exist in our community. We look forward to doing this again next year, on Saturday May 4th 2024!
